One of the easiest ways you can help protect sharks is by simply educating yourself about them! When you take time to learn about these beautiful creatures, you not only gain an understanding about their survival, but also their threats. Donating is always a good idea.🦈 As you know, Pura Vida is partnering with Oceana to help oceans worldwide. This means that 5% of sales on our Shark Week Collection (collection will be linked here) will be donated to Oceana! They are rebuilding abundant and biodiverse oceans by winning science-based policies in countries that control one-third of the world’s wild fish catch. Looking out for sharks and defending them when needed is an amazing way to protect them. If you see a shark being attacked or harmed, be sure to report it to local authorities.
